Sudden painless loss of vision

OBJECTIVES

This module was developed with the primary care physician in mind. It will allow the participant to develop a thorough but expedient approach to any patient with sudden painless loss of vision(SLOV). As well important pathophysiology and treatments are discussed highlighted by clinical cases and a few review questions at the end.

After completing this module, you will be able to produce a differential diagnosis of the most common causes of SLOV and employing standard office or emergency room equipment be able to examine the patient.
