Fellowship funds are also available from the CNIB Baker Fellowship Fund. To be eligible for the CNIB Baker Fellowship candidates must begin or return to an academic posting in Canada within 3 years of completing their training or return to an area of need as supported by a letter from the medical director of the community. An outline of future plans supported by a letter of acceptance to an academic posting or alternate should accompany the application where possible.

Welcome to the Canadian Glaucoma Society

The Canadian Glaucoma Society was established to offer a forum for Ophthalmologists with an interest in Glaucoma to exchange ideas on all aspects of this sight-threatening disease. The Society meets each year, in conjunction with the Canadian Ophthalmological Society annual meeting, to present current topics to the membership from visiting speakers, members and residents in training. The Stephen Drance Award is awarded for the best scientific presentation by a trainee, including residents, fellows, and medical or graduate students.
