Welcome to the Canadian Glaucoma Society

The Canadian Glaucoma Society was established to offer a forum for Ophthalmologists with an interest in Glaucoma to exchange ideas on all aspects of this sight-threatening disease. The Society meets each year, in conjunction with the Canadian Ophthalmological Society annual meeting, to present current topics to the membership from visiting speakers, members and residents in training. The Stephen Drance Award is awarded for the best scientific presentation by a trainee, including residents, fellows, and medical or graduate students.

Please mark your calendar for World Glaucoma Day, 12 March 2010. If you are planning events or want to discuss ideas to promote this event in Canada, please contact Dr. Marcelo Nicolela (CGS President) or Dr. Neeru Gupta (Secretary-Treasurer).
